Danish Braid (¨Kanelstang¨)

The cinnamon braid is an extremely traditional pastry found all throughout Denmark and is commonly enjoyed with afternoon coffee. 

Most traditionally it is made with a Danish milk dough, filled with a marzipan-butter filling, Danish vanilla custard, and cinnamon and is topped with a sugar glaze. We also offer braids that have homemade strawberry or raspberry jam in place of the cinnamon. 

Offered in braids approximately 1 foot long.  

Ingredients: 

Organic unbleached flour, organic milk, cage free eggs, organic cane sugar, butter, organic almond flour, organic dry yeast, organic corn starch, sea salt, organic cinnamon, organic vanilla bean powder, cane powdered sugar.
