Danish Braid* (¨Kanelstang¨)

The cinnamon braid is an extremely traditional pastry found all throughout Denmark and is commonly enjoyed with afternoon coffee. 

Most traditionally it is made with a Danish milk dough, filled with a marzipan-butter filling, Danish vanilla custard, and cinnamon and is topped with a sugar glaze. We also offer braids that have homemade strawberry or raspberry jam in place of the cinnamon.

Offered in braids approximately 1 foot long.  

Ingredients: Organic unbleached flour, milk, cage free eggs, organic cane sugar, butter, organic almond flour, yeast, organic cornstarch, organic cinnamon, sea salt, organic vanilla bean powder
